Centerville Girls participate in State "B" Basketball Tournament

The young Tornadoes blew into the Huron Arena ready to play basketball. In first round action, the Tornadoes defeated a very strong Corsica/Stickney team 55-49. Second round action found Centerville playing an undefeated Newell "Irrigators" team. The Tornadoes gave Newell all they could handle until the Irrigators pulled away in the fourth quarter and downed the Tornadoes 71-57. Third round action matched Centerville up with the Highmore/Harold "Pirates". The Tornadoes had this game won until a last second shot by the Pirates that put Highmore/Harold ahead for good.

The Centerville girls should be very proud of their play at the state tournament and throughout the year. Congratulations on your participation in the State "B" Tournament.

Viborg/Hurley Girls Basketball 2010-11

Congratulations to the Cougar girls basketball team on a successful season. The girls finished up the season strong, making it to the District Championship. Viborg-Hurley Cougar Football & Volleyball 2010

At the beginning of the 2010 school year, the Viborg & Hurley communities began a new journey together as the Viborg-Hurley "Cougars". If the beginning of this journey is any indication of what this newly formed co-op has to offer, we are all in for a great ride.
